a lot of people ask me what's a good morning routine or what should I be doing in the mornings to help myself get more energy so here are a few things that I would recommend first thing that you want to do is swing your legs over sit on the edge of the bed and take five long deep breaths then go ahead and stand up and you should have a bottle of water right next to you walk over to the window get some direct sunlight and drink the entire bottle of water two of my favorite things to do in the morning when I'm getting ready is number one at the very end of my shower for the last minute I take the handle and I make a cooler cooler cooler what it does is actually causes all the blood to shunt to the middle of your trunk it's incredibly alerting it'll wake you up and bring you to the present almost immediately the other thing I do is music music is a very emotional form of communication and so I love it when music is playing early in the morning I recommend that you play it as well it'll definitely get you going if you're heading down for breakfast you really want a high protein low carbohydrate breakfast if you especially if you want energy in the morning unfortunately almost nothing could be worse than a bagel or a muffin because those carbohydrates have a tendency to make us feel sleepy so you're really looking for 75 to 80 percent protein to keep your brain active because your brain is really looking for fuel you
