It’s that time of the month again where I show you everything that’s new in my stash for the month of September. Hi, I’m Doctor Anne. I’m a medical doctor with a passion for skincare that works. On this channel We explore the science behind skin and do quick reviews so you learn to pick exactly those products that work for your individual skin concern. But surprising enough this month I added much more makeup to my stash than I did skincare, and I haven’t bought makeup in quite a while. But you see, I was kind of in need, I had forgotten both my black liner and my mascara at home when we were on holiday, So I needed to replace them because I feel naked whenever I am without when going out or stuff like that. So I purchased a gel liner. This one is by Maybelline and it’s their lasting drama gel eyeliner 24 hours and I have not tested it for 24 hours because I never wear my makeup that long, but this is a really nice Gel liner that stays put, stays black and did not come off when I was rubbing my eyes. It does come with a double ended brush Which looks like this: one side is a smudgy brush and one side is kind of a pointy dense brush, Which works surprisingly well for either smudging -duh- or for drawing a precise line, although now that I’m back home I prefer my Real Techniques liner brush for a really fine line and wing. So yeah Highly recommend that one. And then I picked up the L’Oréal Paradise Extatic Mascara. Extatic is the waterproof version of the L’Oreal Paradise one, which I have not tried yet. I usually don’t like waterproof mascara, because just like it is with this one It is a pain in the behind to take off. Yeah, Beach holiday, I figured I’d go for waterproof. This one really stays put, I can’t remove it with my trusted Bioderma Micellar water. You really do need a biphasic Makeup remover to get rid of it in the evenings. It holds the curl really Well, it’s really good at lengthening It gives some volume and I really like how it looks – I’m wearing it on my lashes today – The only thing is: You need to be very careful when you want to layer it up, because it has a tendency to clump After the second layer, and I usually just whack on my mascara, So yeah, need to be really careful with this one. And then I picked up some nail polish. This is a trio It’s the “Get some vitamin Sea”, It’s one of their summery nail polish collection trios, three minis, Each one is five milliliter and it contains “Ballet Slippers” Which I already owned, but it dried out on me, and then it has “Maki Me Happy”, which is red You know, I love my reds, and then it’s “Without a stitch”, which I haven’t tried before, I’m wearing it today, but it looks like a grayish taupe that I really like for the fall and winter time. And I really like that these three are just five millilitres, because that gives me hope that I’m able to get a decent amount of use out of them before they go off on me, because I never really Finish a bottle of nail polish. Then I did pick up some haircare. I’m not really picky with my haircare I probably should be because my hair’s very damaged, but I just go for whatever makes it feel and smell nice. So I purchased the shampoo and conditioner from Langhaarmädchen, which means translated “long haired girl”. It’s just a brand That my local DM carries and I picked up shampoo, conditioner and their dry shampoo. Both are not really expensive, Silicon-based, yes, the shampoo does contain sulfates, But I really like how they make my hair feel. And then I got sent some PR stuff from Asambeauty or M. Asam. This is from the Vino Rose Collection, which they do with Rossmann, which is a German drugstore, and at first I received the Hydrating Gel Mask which I have tried quite a few times already, because after this summer my skin was really dehydrated. It’s really nice and hydrating, it doesn’t dry down, It’s tacky as you would expect from a hydrating gel mask. I do not find this one to be extremely hydrating, So if your skin is severely dehydrated, this is not the one for you. If you just want a little boost of moisture though, this is a nice one to try and Vino Rose, it smells really really nice of yeah, of roses. Not the artificial rose scent, but the really nice rose water scent. from the same line is the Vino Rose Instant Skin Perfector. This one is more of a primer/ skin care hybrid because it’s meant to blur pores and fine lines and wrinkles and has a Siliconey base, so it feels a little on the skin like Benefit Porefessional primer, But this also has some rose extracts and grapeseed extract, so it has some Anti-aging antioxidant benefits as well. I have not worn it under makeup yet So I need to report back if it works for that one. And then another face mask, This one is from the Vino Gold Line, again from Asam Beauty. While the Vino Rose line is aimed at younger Skin, the Vino Gold Line is more aimed at women at my age. And this one comes with matcha. It’s an antioxidant mask and as you can probably tell it looks like green slime. It’s a really rich and nourishing mask, feels like a cream when you apply it, again I have just used it once so I know the feeling – I can’t tell you much more about it yet. Keep an eye out on the blog or on Instagram where I am going to review it Once I have tested it a little more. And then lastly: this is the Asambeauty lime vanilla Body exfoliant. This is a sugar based body scrub. I usually just stick to dry brushing, because I feel like these are really yeah Just much effort to do, but this one smells Really nice and it’s an oil base with sugar scrubs. You massage it in, you really get a good scrub, but without it being harsh and when you shower it off they just Disappear, so there’s no mess left. Just a nice scent and really soft skin. And I have looked on the homepage: They have a tea line. So there’s green tea and bamboo and there is Chai Tea Latte which I’m as a tea lover Really excited to probably try, and a lot of them are vegan. This one is not, I think… No doesn’t say, but a lot of them are vegan If you’re into a vegan cosmetics. That sums up what’s new in my stash for the month of September! What did you purchase? Please tell me in the comments below. I’m going to link to more videos that I think you might enjoy and am going to see you all very soon. Bye!

Sustainably Savvy

That's not too bad and quite a few of those products were sent for review! I only bought items for my giveaway, so if you include that… I guess it was toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner? LOL.

Lovely little haul for September Anne 🙂 As for me I gave a lot of things away while traveling (I like to lighten my load as I go because I normally pick up a few things on the way, plus friends and family overseas don't have some of the things I have access to – so I make gifts of them. My Aunt particularly loved Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield! I think in Europe it's an SPF of 30 but in Australia it only rates at 15! I loved using it while I was in Europe – it doubled as a primer and SPF and it also blurs fine lines. A great product! … You're the one that got me onto Murad in the first place!) So on that note – my most recent buys Murad Invisiblur, Nutrient charged water gel! (that was the one you made me buy first! Now I love it!!) I also bought their Age reform AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser and prebiotic 4 in 1 cleanser … because my Aesops is about to run out. And I bought the Elizabeth Arden Retinol capsules in duty free! … Hmmmm …. now that I list them there are quite a few things! Didn't realise I got so much! Hahahaha!
